Meet April Myers, LCSW—a trauma-informed therapist passionate about helping you heal, grow, and reconnect with your purpose. April earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology before discovering her passion for social work—drawn to its focus on community, advocacy, and meaningful change. She went on to receive a Masters of Social Work Degree from Northcentral University. She has extensive experience supporting survivors of intimate partner violence, military families, adolescents and teens, and individuals navigating dual diagnoses involving substance use and mental health.  She currently focuses on supporting clients  navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and life transitions. Raised in a military family, she brings a deep appreciation for diverse experiences and human connection. As a Certified Trauma Professional and trauma-informed yoga instructor, she offers a holistic, compassionate approach to care. With over 24 years of marriage, three children, and a spirited grandson, April creates a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

Advocacy and education are some of April's passions and she has led workshops and delivered speaking engagements on topics including domestic violence, Minority Mental Health,  Religion and mental Health, and The Impact of Self-Esteem on Mental Health and Our overall Well-Being. Through these efforts, she brings a thoughtful, informative, and engaging approach to raising awareness and fostering meaningful conversations around mental health and healing, which is also reflected in her integrative therapeutic approach.

At Trinity we offer a safe space where your path to wellness is handled with absolute empathy, honesty, and expert guidance. We help clients identify and shift maladaptive patterns and thought processes that may be keeping them disconnected from the version of themselves they strive to become. Our clinicians are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and take an integrative approach to care. Through this, we provide meaningful support, psychoeducation, and practical tools—empowering clients with clarity and skills to support lasting healing, resilience, and overall well-being.
